Plugged in the guitar runs the gamut from warm neck pickup to a more honky, biting bridge pickup tone. The pickguard is a reproduction as the original was lost.Įlectrically everything seems to be correct with some signs of solder joints being disturbed.Īcoustically this guitar has a pleasantly warm tone that certainly tips the hat to Gibson’s archtop heritage. The neck is in superb condition with almost no wear. Yuki McClure of Player Grade Vintage purchased the guitar and restored it, filling in the hole and matching the grain as well as refinishing the new sections, leaving the original finish untouched.
